Wow. Talk about a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Cruising across the Straits of Mackinac to … Mackinac Island. The Experts say The Straits don’t necessarily freeze in all winters. But this winter, perfect weather and perfect timing, as we were headed back to Michigan from Minnesota, the road trip to the Arrowhead 123 v2022.
Anyway. Why would anyone do this? Why not? Solid Ice. Free training ride to the famous island. Cruise’n The Island with not real tourist traffic.

I will take what I can from your post, and use it to help get my ass up the Iditarod Trail in a few weeks….. on foot, single speed, starting real slow , before grinding to a complete halt somewhere along the trail.
There won’t be any stats or data, coz my Sony Walkman’s playing up.
